Alternative

Kalauz vs Conductor

Conductor proved the shape: workspace, branch, worktree, agent, review, PR. Kalauz rebuilds it as a native binary on C# and Avalonia, so the same control room runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux — with enterprise providers and isolated credential profiles built in.

What changes

Three things Conductor doesn't do.

Both tools orchestrate parallel coding agents in git worktrees. These are the gaps Kalauz fills.

Native on every OS

Conductor is macOS-only, built on Tauri 2 with a web view underneath. Kalauz is a single native binary on C# and Avalonia — macOS, Windows, and Linux as first-class citizens, with no web runtime to drag around.

Enterprise model providers

Route agents through Amazon Bedrock or Google Vertex AI. Spend, logs, and data stay in your own AWS or GCP account. Conductor routes through the provider’s API directly, with no enterprise alternative.

Credential profiles

Each profile carries its own agent API keys, git identity, model provider, and privacy defaults. Switch the whole set in one move so client work, company work, and side projects never share credentials by accident.

Feature comparison

Side by side.

Every feature, compared. Green checks where Kalauz delivers, dashes where it doesn’t apply.

Common ground

The shape is the same.

Kalauz inherited the fundamentals that Conductor got right. Both tools give you isolated git worktrees, parallel agents, in-place diff review, and one-move PR creation. The workflow transfers — the platform doesn’t lock you in.

Worktree isolation

Each agent runs in its own branch and git worktree. Nothing one agent does can touch another’s ground.

In-place review

Read every diff on the canvas, run it, and act — without switching tools or windows.

Agent-agnostic

Bring Claude Code, Codex, or whatever CLI agents you already trust. Neither tool locks you to one provider.

Ready to switch.

Download Kalauz for your OS and point it at the same repos. The workflow is familiar — the platform is wider.
