Introduction
Learn what Kalauz is and where to start in the docs.
Kalauz is the native, cross-platform conductor for parallel coding agents — a single binary built on C# and Avalonia, the same control room on macOS, Windows, and Linux. Point it at a repository and run a yard of agents at once, each sealed in its own git worktree, then review the diffs and ship the PRs without leaving the window.
Get started
New here? These pages take you from nothing installed to your first agent running against real code.
- Install » — get Kalauz running on macOS, Windows, or Linux.
- Your first workspace » — open a workspace and hand it to an agent.
How it works
Every unit of work in Kalauz is a workspace: a fresh branch and its own git worktree, sealed off from everything else on disk. You hand each workspace to an agent — Claude Code or Codex, reusing the login already on your machine — and they run in parallel without stepping on each other.
When an agent settles, you read the diff in place, run your setup and run scripts, leave inline comments, and open the PR. You stay at the junction routing the work.

Once you're up and running, the concept pages explain the model in depth and the how-to guides walk through the common moves:
- Isolated workspaces — the worktree-per-workspace model.
- Workflow — the full loop, start to ship.
- Parallel agents — running a whole yard at once.
- From issue to PR — a task end to end.
Kalauz is Hungarian for conductor — the one who walks the train, checks the line, and signals when each car is clear to move. Pronounced KO-louz.
